Karen joined Welcome Tourism Services in 2001 in the newly formed Groups department where her background in Groups and Incentives stood her in good stead. During her first year, Karen received the Directors Award and was also voted Personality of the Year by her colleagues for 2010. She is outgoing, unconventional and makes every effort to engage with all her colleagues across the Brands.

Integrity and honesty are the values that she considers to be cornerstones in the building and maintaining of all relationships whether at work or in her private life.

The journey with Welcome has been extremely interesting with many changes and challenges along the way and she has enjoyed every minute of growing and being part of such a fun loving and dynamic team.
