Nelita has been with Welcome her entire Tourism career and began her journey here in 1993 when she was employed as a junior consultant. Nelita is the driving force behind our people and is known for her caring and empathetic nature, making sure that the staff is on the right track to deliver world class services. The procedures and processes she has implemented have been the driving force behind Welcome's world class service delivery for many years and will be for many years to come.

Nelita started at Welcome Tourism Services 18 years ago, as a junior consultant. She was a newcomer to the industry but quickly learnt the art of inbound tour operating and selling the Southern African destination. Nelita excelled in customer relationships and service and was quickly identified as a star for the future.

After 4 years of consulting, Nelita was made Supervisor of the largest operational department in the company, making her the youngest supervisor in Welcome's history. This is where Nelita developed the people management and motivational skills that would see her become the leader of people she is today.

Nelita's operational skills and knowhow were very apparent and she was promoted to General Manager of Operations 5 years later, where she successfully ran the logistical and Operational aspects of the company creating and implementing many of the processes we still use today.
