In 2007 Renier started at Welcome Tourism Services as a Business Development Specialist. In 2009 he moved into the Contracting department as a Contracting Executive and was appointed as Business Development Team manager in 2010, and has since become a Product Development Team Manager.

Renier is passionate about travel and Southern Africa and loves promoting the region throughout the world by being creative and thinking outside the box. He also has a competitive nature and loves to be active and participate in sport, especially cycling. His motto in life: - If the hill looks too steep, never get off the bike. This is something cycling taught him and he applies this to everyday life!
