Kapama

Kapama has expanded their reserve with the inclusion of a neighbouring reserve.

The new property is home to Hongonyi Game Lodge which has a considerable amount of big game on the property.

After obtaining the property renovations were made and they included:

• 15 new suits
• brand-new lounge and dining area
• pool and
• back of house area.

The camp opened its doors on 19 December 2011 and was renamed Southern Camp.

Southern Camp will offer two daily safaris and complimentary return Eastgate Airport transfers.

Lion Sands Private Game Reserve

From the 01 August 2012 Lion Sands Game Reserve will be charging ZAR 70.00 per one way per adult/child for Skukuza Airport transfers.

Federal Airlines

Federal Airlines have halted operations flying from Johannesburg/Nelspruit to Vilanculos, Mozambique schedule services due to Cyclone Funso.

Normal operations will commence by Monday 30 January 2012.

The Table Mountain Cableway will be closed for annual maintenance from 23 July to 05 August 2012.

Table Mountain Cableway will re-open on 06 August 2012 weather permitting.
