Welcome Tourism Services powered by Tourvest Inbound Operatons has launched a new online shopping application. Travellers will be able to pre-order their safari gear and foreign exchange as well as local items like wine, books, movies and curios.

The site will provide details of recommended retail outlets and attractions in South Africa and a catalogue of their inventory. Tourists can then choose to either visit these places during their visit to the country or pre-order the items online. They will also be able to visit The Safari Shop after their trip to order more goods.

Before your Trip: enables clients to pre-order their safari gear ahead of their trip. They can also check out the Duty Free catalogue on SAA ahead of their flight. Forex can also be pre-ordered online and collected from their chosen outlet on arrival at JNB Airport, or any other AMEX outlet of their choice.

During your Trip: enables clients to prepare their curio and jewellery shopping in advance and print out lists of shops, including all the AMEX outlets. Online Gift Vouchers are also being developed where clients themselves can print out from The Safari Shop for the various shops participating in this campaign. Clients can then present it to their family or friends if they have a birthday, or special anniversary whilst on tour. They could even give it to the tour leader or group organiser as a "Thank You" gesture. At the moment only the Tourvest Shops are displayed, but it is in the process of loading all the other shops with negotiated special deals.

After your Trip: enables clients to purchase anything after they return home, from Duty Free catalogues to online Wine, etc. This gives clients the option of buying special gifts for birthdays, and even special collectors items.

The Safari Shop is contracted with quality affiliates and internationally recognized online shopping partners such as Amazon.com, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, American Express, and so on. These affiliates distribute internationally, are reliable and payment is secure.
